[CRASH] Hour-long Match Causes Both Ally and Enemy Players Clients To Disconnect | Post-game Chat

In a seemingly normal match of League, both the ally and enemy teams' games crashed simultaneously once hitting the 1-hour mark, resulting in a BugSplat Error Screen. One by one, each player was disconnected, and forced to restart their client.

I'm not sure if this is reproducible, but here's how it happened in this instance:

  1. Enter a match of League of Legends.
  2. Extend match to where the Match Timer reaches an hour or more.
  3. One by one, both your teammates and the enemy players games will crash. Bugsplat ensues.
  4. Restart client. Rejoin match.

I sadly didn't record the match this time, but attached is an Imgur of the post-game chat. As you'll see, both teams note that they too disconnected.

In my three years of playing League of Legends, this has never happened before. If someone could look into this (when you have the time) so it doesn't happen to anyone else in the future, I'm sure other players would appreciate it!

Not only is Riot making games more snowbally. They're also ending games if they last too long. kappa
