Login error cancels queue position???

The client has been constantly saying that there is a login error and canceling my logins on multiple computers for the past month or so.

I really can't describe how frustrating it is to wait in a queue for 40 minutes, then have a common client crash cancel that and have to start at the back of the line again. This is just ridiculous, and Riot just doesn't seem to care, because to them, each of us is expendable. Instead of making their long time clients happy with bug fixes, they release new champions and skins to bring in more people...this game makes me sick to my stomach.
