Computer freeze

I'm getting this problem too. Funny thing is I had this happen to me for the few months up until after the Ekko patch. After that patch the problem went away only to return again with the Tahm Kench patch. After I enter my login information and go to the PVP.net client window, my computer freezes for ~35 seconds before continuing. Nothing I try seems to help the problem either.

Mine is doing the same thing, but not coming back. I've had to hard reset my computer several times. Reinstalled, still happening. Compatibility modes aren't working either.

same for me actually - though it only lasts ~8sec on good days and up to 2min on bad days, the loading process just seems to be...let´s call it suboptimal.

Same for me but just like Datascat my does not start within a few mins. I have to reset my computer and still does it again. Pls fix riot. And thank you if you do.

same problem, multiple hard boots required. tried everything i can think of, no change.

This has happened a ton of times for me too now and I've tried changing the compatibility settings and stuff but when I do that League just wont open at all. The only thing that sort of works for me is when I log in immediately hitting Play which will freeze my computer for maybe half a minute or so but then it'll work just fine after that. Still annoying, but it lets me play without any issues. Though the news feed and all that is still completely blacked out.

Same issue. Just came back after about a year and then this happens. Killed any sort of excitement I had to start playing again.

Im having this issue now as well. Never had a problem before, logged off last night with no issue, woke up today and LoL crashed my computer. Havent tried to really WAIT yet to see if anything changes, trying that now, but in case it doesnt.
