[Client] lock in button disables while i'm picking

when it's my turn to pick, i select a champ, then take any extra time to double check my runeset, masteries, and spells, etc. Then, if I haven't called my lane in chat, I will do so before I lock in. However, when I click in the chat window, the lock in button greys out. If I switch champs and back again, it reactivates, but this has caused me to get stuck with teh wrong champ.
