Loss Promos because of remake?

I was in promos and it granted me a free win and i only need 1 more to win well i lost my next game got into another game it ended being a remake i was not the player who was afk but when the vote ended and it said it was a remake game after i clicked out it gave me a message saying I was unsuccessful in my promotion series
