Cant play. My launcher gets to about 33 - 50% (step 2/2 242mb 0KBps)
If someone can please help me or give me advice on how to fix itd be greatly appreciated

It does that when it's writing files. If you let it sit, it'll finish. I'd recommend opening up task manager and closing any CPU intensive programs (in mine case it was my antivirus), that'll speed it up.
Happens to me every patch all you can do is wait but dont close the client or you start all over again
