Is mastery emote not working for other people or just me?

My mastery emote doesn't work. If i dont have a mastery emote on a champion i still get that little message that tells me i dont have mastery unlocked on that champion. But if i do have mastery 4/5 the emote wont pop up.

Same for me since the patch. I saw a comment by a Rioter yesterday that stated they were aware of the issue and working on a fix.
