Riot: Acknowledgement would be nice!
I wanted to make this post to address something that has been bothering me, specifically because I feel that there has been a lack of Riot acknowledgement about this topic.
There are multiple, documented bugs plaguing Syndra. Ever since the hitbox nerf, her stun is completely unreliable - sometimes passing through targets (champions, minions and creep camps, without stunning, sometimes passing through targets without dealing damage, and sometimes sending her orbs flying backwards instead of towards a target. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a__sNUck6bo , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsVZ5VoqVL0 , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwfbHFdsvag) Her R has had a significant bug which causes her model to shake and move inconsistently after its cast. Now her W is causing a cursor bug that locks her cursor to a specific action until W is cast again (ex: right-clicking to auto-attack is prevented because the cursor is locked on another action).
I don't care if Syndra is never played in the LCS again, or never considered "God Tier" or OP again. I did not care about the nerfs - in my opinion if Syndra's bugs were worked out she would still be a perfectly viable/strong pick. I just want to play my favorite champion without a slew of bugs preventing me from doing so. As far as I know, Riot has addressed one of these bugs (her E sending orbs backwards) since they have appeared, but I have yet to find any significant Riot posts acknowledging or addressing the bugs plaguing her or stating any intention of working on them or fixing them.
It would be nice if Syndra were either disabled until these bugs are worked out or Syndra players could at least receive a post from a Riot employee that is longer than one line acknowledging the bugs and providing a progress update on their repairs.
