Retreat Ping no longer working 7.5

The Retreat Ping is the old yellow 'Back' ping. I actually do use this bind believe it or not and its weird now that it doesn't work. Is this intended to have been removed? I believe its not in the patch notes.

For me at least, the normal yellow retreat ping has been replaced by the regular blue ping, but you can still use the quickcast retreat ping, I think it's set to CTRL + LeftMouse Click.

same, it doesn't work. This has made the game unplayable for me. because I have a disorder of doing things a specific way, so I'm very tilted because I cant use the retreat ping as it has been changed. I would really like riot to fix this bug or revert their change. i am having mental issues due to this issue.

It works as ctrl-left mouse as a work around but the hotkey menu won't let you change it back to whatever you want it to be. This needs to get fixed.

Dont know if anyone found a solution yet but go into your hotkeys settings and find the quick cast retreat ping, should be on ctrl left click at the moment, change it to v and that should solve the problem. Only difference is that it's quick cast which is actually faster

Yea, I just noticed today and thought there was something wrong with my keyboard until I checked the hotkeys and saw that V was still binded to "retreat." Lame.

Retreat ping isn't removed.. Use G or something else other then V.

I lost over 40 cs last match because I couldn't figure out how to ping people to leave. The 11/1 Riven with 120 CS was complaining to me, the 6/5 Tristana with 50 CS, that she "needs farm too". I haven't been this tilted in awhile.

Go to the hotkey assigning settings ...... under the communication section you'll see that quick retreat ping has been set to "ctrl MB1" ...... change that to "v".
