Played a Game while the client was closed [Client]

I had just played a game on Ezreal ADC and when the game finished the match didn't even record at all, I look at task manager and the client wasn't even on. So I'm confused if they game was ever recorded because I looked at Match History, and it did not show up. This first time this happened to me so I'm kinda wondering why it happened. So if theres any explaination please let me know.
