i cant control my characters movment

just recently over the last 2 games I've played i haven't been able to control my character, as in i cant right click to move when i want and when i do the game chooses the shortest possible path to run right into the heart of the enemy base and i die every time, i still have control over where i want to click but not where i want to go, its always the most direct B line route to the enemies spawn no matter where i click or how much i try move away and i cant play the game. the first time this happened i discovered the only way i can choose where i want to go is to move my camera far a way and place a ward and then i automatically move to where i wanted to place the ward but then if i try right click to move it just B lines from there right to my death. and most recently this happened i chose to rather than just completely waste an hour because of this frankly shocking and ridiculous problem to leave the match. as much as i did not want to i had no choice.

Try changing to Fullscreen from Windowed or vice versa. I think this is an issue that can happen when you alt-Tab out of the game.

i can try but i really don't wanna test that because if it turns out that that is not the the case then ill have left 2 games sequentially and thats not good for my account even tho its not my fault i just cant play in those conditions

Happened to me too after a disconnect. After the usual reconnect bug, i finally got in. As soon as I clicked my champ ran straight down mid-lane and died. Had to quit and re-log to fix it.
