Client Bug that occurs when the game crashes

So electricity went out when i was in game. When i tried to start league up again the client had a 1 GB update. The login screen had reset form k/DA to welcome to league of legends/poppy. Experienced this a couple of times before too when the game crashes. Is there any fix where i don't have to re download the update again ?
