After i picked my champ and saw all the team mates at the beginning i am arriving to the base. After 3 seconds the game freezes and the pc too (the only way to get out is to shut down the pc) + i cant type any key on the keyboard. I hear strange voices like something is stuck. What can i do to fix that problem? i tried to reinstall the game without success. can u pls answer me mates?

Did you just install the Windows 10 Anniversary Update?

Just change the following property for this file:

C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\solutions\lol_game_client_sln\releases\0.0.1.144\deploy\League of Legends.exe

Properties -> Compatibility -> Compatibility Mode (Set to Windows 7)

You go to that location in your file system.

I would start from C:\ in Windows Explorer and navigate down into each subdirectory manually.

The most likely issue is that your release (i.e. 0.0.1.144) may be a slightly different number. In that case, just go into the latest.

You may have to redo the fix after League of Legends updates, but I'm not sure.

Microsoft released an Anniversary Update for Windows 10 a short while ago and it is slowly being disseminated to users. In my case, this is what caused the issue with League of Legends.

  1. Open the application "Windows Explorer"
  2. Go to C:\
  3. Go into "Riot Games" directory
  4. Go into "League of Legends" directory
  5. Go into "RADS" directory
  6. Go into "solutions" directory
  7. Go into "lol_game_client_sln" directory
  8. Go into "releases" directory
  9. Go into the most recent (highest number) directory if there are multiple. If there is only one, go into it.
  10. Go into "deploy" directory
  11. Right-click League of Legends.exe
  12. Select "Properties" from the right-click menu
  13. Select the "Compatibility" tab
  14. Check the box to indicate you want to run this file in Compatibility Mode
  15. Select "Windows 7" from the dropdown menu just below the checkbox from (13).

If "Riot Games" isn't in the root of your C:\ drive, you installed it elsewhere. Go to that location and start from (2).

I'm honestly not sure if I can simplify this any further, so hopefully this is enough.
