Lost LP because server was feeling like it

So I just got out of a game where the server decided to not respond correctly and when I did load into the game 3 other people were in my fountain one never actually made it into the game and their jace was lv 6 had 60 cs and was killing the tower. We ended up losing (because the enemy team wasn't affected as much by this) and the server didn't register this as loss prevented. Playing ranked already has enough stressful elements, so why do I also have to deal with server instability?
