Black screen after champ selection since last patch, Mac client

When a game lunch after champ select, I get a black screen with a single white pixel in the middle of the screen. Can't alt+tab, can't cmd+q. Can only cmd+alt+escape. Downloaded most recent patch today, doing that every games since. any fix? thank you.
