Got banned because of riot client

I was in a champ select when the client lagged so hard it froze then i woke up 0 seconds left to ban a champ. I got a 30 BAN for that. Riot please fix your client...

Same thing just happened to me. Was in champ select and I could pick my champion, but I couldn't lock in. The client then proceeded to tell me there was a "bug" and It "failed" to load. I then got a leaver buster. Absolutely ridiculous man.

My client just says game in progress with no reconnect button ,can't creat another game ,tried restarting pc and relogging but still Game in progress

since today i have to run in windows 8 compatibility mode and it works from after that.
