Client broken/ Unable to login

Client is broken displaying message "There was an unexpected error with the login session. Please try again". Currently can't even login to client.

There was a brief announcement message in the client around 30 mins ago saying there would be maintenance for 2 hours starting 07:40 PST. It got removed soon after. Maybe they started maintenance early?

Also why is the time quoted in PST for a Europe server =/
