[GAMEPLAY/CRASH] Playing Nidalee induces lag while ping & fps don't change

I have played Nidalee twice in 2 days and both times it created intense lag, even though I'd played several games before without any issues. Whenever spells are cast:

1. no effects are shown for a second or two;
2. players slide around on the floor;
3. skillshots are invisible;
4. in teamfights with multiple spellcasts at once, everything freezes for about 10 seconds.

Some extra details in case it helps:

1. I was using the Bewitching Nidalee skin (haven't tried with other skins)
2. I was jungling with smite
3. Both times I was on blue side

Anyone else experienced this?
