random in-game freezing ---- PLEASE HELP

what happens is that once in every 10 or so games ill be running fine for the first couple of minutes or sometimes cant even get out of the spawn pool, either way i'll be in game and will randomly freeze, sometimes audio freezes other times it does not, everyone I've seen that has had this issue says they freeze for 2-3 seconds where as i freeze indefinitely for the rest of the game, I've tried everything from reinstalling, to repairing my client, I've tried simply things like closing and re opening it and I've tried restarting my computer. it seems to only happen in ranked games which is the biggest upset of all of the other upsets as I'm getting in huge amount of trouble from teammates and getting massive Que times having to wait 20 minutes at a time before every game because of this issue that I'm having. this is a new thing for me that never happened in season 5 and only started to happen in the early preseason of season 6 where it was just a few seconds of freezing at a time then it would resume and then it moved to 2 minutes and then it would say "attempting to reconnect" and finally now its moved to just downright freezing for the entirety of the game. when i close league and reconnect if i type in chat as soon as i reconnect it works very briefly until i do anything as much as open shop or walk out of the spawn, I've been playing for upwards of 4 years and have never had this problem until now. if anyone has had this and knows how to fix it please help me out

this really wouldn't bother me as much as it does if i wasn't an avid league of legends player and if i didn't put so much money into this game
