Cant Reconnect to Game

Was just in a ranked game around 11 mins in or so and I suddenly dc'ed from the game. I still had a stable internet connection so I just thought to exit the game and reconnect. After I exited the game there was no reconnect option, I was back at the client homescreen and able to queue up for another game as if I was never in game.
