[Crash] [Client]Game crashed and client wouldn't work

I was going into a game when the game crashed and I had to exit the client to try and log back on but when I went to log back on none of the buttons would work and it would not let me log in until I restarted my computer. It only happened once but this with the constant disconnection to league servers even though my internet works fine to other sites has caused me to have leaver buster and I do not want my honor to go down nor my account be in jeopardy of suspension. I am running windows 8.1.
