Game stopped working, tried reinstalling and now it wont patch, what do

I wanted to log into league, but an error message saying it wasn't compatible with windows or something was wrong with the installation. So i reinstalled and now it pulls up the updater, but it just keeps flashing the message "Patching Failed, but we're not sure why. Check out support page {{support page}} to find possible solution" is there anything i can do to fix?
