My brother and I just updated to 4.18. He mentioned that he keeps on getting the crash. I tried playing with bots and it happened to me too. Tested it a few times with just bots, ALL games crashed at around ~8 minutes. it stayed at 500 ping and 'attempting to reconnect.' Any fixes?
Contacted support and they swept it under the rug like it doesnt exist so heres my response im sure many of us feel the same.
Yea first off im not the only person that has been experiencing this issue your boards/forums are full of people complaining about this same issue. Yet not a single staff member is addressing it, instead you are just sending people to support and nothing comes of it.
I will have a couple games perfectly fine then out of nowhere i get a spike to 500 ping, my character wont respond but i can see everything else in game moving fluidly and chat works fine for a couple seconds
if you continue to spam things it just eventually dcs you but you stand in the same spot. when you try to relog back in the game denies you access and tells you the game has crashed i really dont see how this is anyhow my fault and deserving of a disciplinary action, so another words because this company cant address a problem on their end you basically are telling me im not allowed to play cuz you dont want to fix the issue?
Funniest part is ive never experienced such bad tech support in any other game.

been going on for a while now, no fix no real mention from Riot on the issue
It's occurring every single day starting around 8 pm pacific and escalating to fully loaded dcing to 500 ping requiring exiting client+restarting every 5-30 seconds in my case. Riot is deleting every single thread mentioning this, rather as you can see to your bottom left, you shall be redirected to Help and Support where your attention can be diverted and your questions avoided. You will be asked to do this and that if you are willing to fall for this blatant diversion tactic, and your problem will continue to occur every single day started around 8 pm pacific.
I fixed mine but won't tell any of you how 8)
This happens to me every game I play now. Riot seriously needs to resolve this.
This is actually an issue that has been happening for awile Riot is ignoring the question dodging it because they dont want others to know like "Dota" bc then Dota will advertise that they dont have that issue
Been having the same issue for about 2 weeks now and have had my accounts suspended because of it. I will be playing with my buddy on the same network and I will experience the ping spike/attempting to reconnect and they wont. Above all else my internet will be working fine (skype/firefox) so it really does boil down to riot servers. For myself and others like me, we are aware that this problem isn't at our ISP's end and would like for Riot to openly acknowledge this issue and have it resolved ASAP so that we can enjoy playing League of Legends.
Been having this same issue for weeks, can we get some answers or a fix riot?

I was at P1 100 LP, in Series game... patch 4.17 came and i lost my series , now i'm at P3.... DC every single match. cant even have 1 normal game, at this rate i'll get demoted to Gold -.-
god riot fix this please. it is killing me for 2 weeks.i cant play even 1 game.

Happening to me to. Every normal game since I've patched I've had to reconnect after dropping to 500 ping and having an endless attempting to reconnect loop.
The same thing is happening to me as well. It's mad annoying and I have lost every match that I have lagged in. Rito pls fix this asap. It's really really really annoying and it seems to have started after the recent patches. My first major crash problem started on a random point on the 28th ish of september but the lag problem started recently after the last 2-3 patches. I
