Promos bug making 1 loss into 2?!

How does 1 loss in promos count as 2??? In my match history I have 3 ranked games played 2 wins and 1 loss. The first win to get into promos, won another game making it 1 promo of 3 played; then lost 1 game somehow ending my promos as it counted as 2 lost promo games... How does that make sense rito!?
