WHY does my screen stay the same in champion select after the countdown? (mac)

This is on the new client, and I have to restart the client or the computer before I'm back in summoners rift against ai's. Everyone has chosen their champion, the countdown is at zero, then nothing happens until I restart the client. I don't want to go back to having a priority queue. Please help me
