Ezreal Stacking Tear with Autos [GAMEPLAY]

The past 3 games, I've noticed that my tear cooldown kept going off after my autos. I then realized that I was actually stacking my tear with auto attacks. It has happened every game recently that I've played Ezreal, and I haven't built tear on other champs, so I don't know if it's unique to Ezreal or if it's a bug with tear.
