Ezreal says no to Blitzcrank
Currently Blitzcranks pull states that it stuns whomever is caught, yet Ezreal can still phaseshift out of it mid pull. Last time I checked you can not use abilities while stunned...

CC doesn't interrupt cast animations.
Ezreal's E has a slightly longer than normal cast animation and it will successfully cast so long as he uses it before he gets CCed.
This is the intended behaviour.
