Client Repeatedly Kicks me from Lobby/ Ban problems [CLIENT]

My client is really slow. Ever since the new client came out I constantly lag during queue and lobby, but thats fine, I manage.

But today, I selected jax as my pick in draft, then during bans the client was lagging when I chose Riven ban . The ban went through but then my firstpick was stuck on riven, who I couldnt select because she was banned. I also couldnt change to Jax (or at all). After clicking as much as I could, the timer ran out and I was kicked for failing to select a champ.

After 5 minutes of waiting and restarting my client I joined queue and due to lag was barely able to declare jax. Then during ban phase, i tried to ban riven, but it wouldnt go through and I was kicked again (15min).

My computer isnt super powerful, but it runs the game fine, so why is the client so freakin broken? Is there anything I can do? I feel like im gonna get banned for dodging when it is entirely the fault of the client.
