Game crashes due to "file error during installation"

It happened to me twice already. After I lock in my champion in champion select and get ready in loading screen for the game, the game crashes, saying that a file from the installation has to be repaired. So the game basically updates all over again. However, i am still in that current game, so of course by the time the game re-updates my team remade the game, hence the loss of important ranked lp ( haven't specified that it happened in rankeds so far ). I would definetely like those LP back, as it was not my fault that the game crashed. Thank you!
