Server connection problems: Apple or League?

Recently, I've been having problems connecting to the server. When I log in, as you can see by the pictures, my profile is blank and when I click on friends to see their in game status nothing pops up. Also, I would get several popups of those unknown errors popping up multiple times and never ending. Personally, I don't know what's wrong. I tried re-downloading the game to see what was up, but the same problems kept arising. I've been playing on my apple macbook for about a year now and it's always been fine until now. I don't know if it's my laptop or it's the game.

However, when I try to queue up for a game, I'm perfectly fine as I will go through the normal process of going through champ select and in game. Sometimes I would get random lag spikes where I'm just frozen and everything is happening around me without me knowing; but, at the same time neither my ping nor fps is spiking. Which leads back to my problem of why this happening and if possible can it be fixed. How can I get this rid of this connecting to server problem and is it just my laptop or is it League?
