Chat size on large resolution screen

Hi there devs, I am playing League on a 4500x3000 resolution and the graphics are super sharp. The downside is that the chat font size is so small i really cannot read it. I found the setting to change the chat size but at 100% it is too small. Is there any way to increase the size of the chat? is it possible to make the slider go up to 200 or 300 percent? Riot support suggested that i should edit the configuration file, and i did but to no avail.

I hope that the upper limit will be increased because everyone who plays at the "native" resolution of the screen will have this problem.
