Issue with Latin American Keyboard

Hello guys I have a very weird question and I hope a GM or someone can help me.

My keyboard has the < button next to the Left Shift and this makes my shift button much shorter.

I went in and changed the Registry of the button and it successfully changed for Windows. However, League of Legends still recognizes the button as < instead of Left Shift as its programmed... Anyone know why this is occuring? Only happens in League.

I used the program KeyTweak and Mapkeyboard to do the change but it does not work... Anyone know anything about this?
