Windows 8.1 PC freeze after login POSSIBLE SOLUTION

I have Windows 8.1 and never experienced/knew this problem until I updated League tonight. I logged in after updating, my PC froze, so I forced my PC off and back on again because literally nothing worked. I then tried to log on League again only to repeat the same steps and support the definition of insanity.

After turning on my PC again, I read all the forums about this problem that seems to be unsolved, and tried an old trick that I used to use when I got this weird message every time I tried to open League maybe a year ago. I right clicked League and ran it as an administrator, logged in, and it did freeze for about 15 seconds but then came back and everything loaded up as usual.

I only tried it once because now I want to play the game but I had to offer this input in the hopes that it works for some of you, cheers.
