Summon Aery Keystone pauses your attacks

I wanted to see if this keystone was viable on an attack speed champion, and wondered how quick aery would return to you after attacking

once aery makes her return, there is a noticeable pause during jax basic attacks -

even trying to fit in a Jax W during the pause, to perhaps fill the gap? still nothing, it seems aerys return puts your damage output on hold.
