Fizz and Blitz

Whenever Fizz E's, blitz can use his knock up to take him out of trickster if blitz auto animation has already started. It also put's fizz's E on cooldown. My brother and I replicated it 15 times in a row in a custom after it happened to me last game. Is this supposed to happen?
