suggestion: launch screen connection quality forecast

I live in an area that has very spotty broadband service. Before launching League, I usually hit http://fast.com (a new service from Netflix that estimates your current connection quality) to make sure that I won't be joining a game and… well, regretting it.

First, I occasionally forget. Secondly, sometimes Netflix says everything is great but the game says otherwise. Thirdly, I do this but my teammates obviously don't.

It would be terrific if the Launch screen had an automatically running connection check that would alert the user to their "broadband weather forecast". You could maybe even do some fancy IP detection and, if the user has a bad connection and is of a major carrier (Comcast, AOL Time Warner, etc.), a link to the support pages of the respective provider so players could convey their annoyance.
