yesterday when i logged on i got 5gb update and there wasn't any update and the update was slow for some reason but after i finished from the update i played a game and i've stopped playing but when i came the next day to play i got update again and it's 5 gb like yesterday

btw my laptop got turned off from battery i'm not sure if it's the reason

If you continue to have Patching Issues, download and run the Hextech Repair Tool and run the "Force Repatch" which will repatch the game if the update was corrupted.
