kog'maw basic attack

i have noticed a problem with his basic attack animation on lion dance and maybe others (untested) the 5 attack speed animation is still in places and pressing w feels to slow down the attack speed it might just be the animation but his old animation not only looking cooler with and without w. the problem is when you press w his (tongue)? has to extend all the way out and with less attack speed takes longer to do. slowing down the attack where the old animation which was a fire ball was just instant like the basic attack. plus the old one looked cooler on both w and without w maybe you just forgot or have not got around to it yet. but is it slowing down the attacks when orb walking or is it just the look and feel of the animation?

It looks that way but a side by side comparison shows that Koggy's attacking at the same speed. Just everyone is so used to pressing W and getting double attack speed that it seems like he's attacking slower.

i thought that at first be after a a couple of games i could feel it. if you just attack normal and move (orb walk) then w attack and move (orb walk) w feels so hard to use. slows you down and you have to wait so much longer for that attack so you don't cancel it also really glad i got another kog'maw players thoughts on it

Same I feel like w animations is slower in the beginning of cast or maybe I'm delusional since the attack speed has changed

Later into the game it feels smoother

i know just what you mean its like they didn't remove the 5 attack speed animation from the basic attack and so its still waiting to build up then when you get to about 2.0 ish 2.1 its getting better but still feels like its slowing you down
