Ranked Queue

Recently (and I say that loosely as this has happened multiple times and never been addressed), I joined a ranked queue only to find that I would be kicked out without being able to select a champ. The screen stays gray as if someone is banning or it's someone's turn and doesn't even show what champions are being picked or banned. This has happened twice in a row making me lose 20 lp and having to wait for 40 minutes. Please just tell me a temporary solution because it's getting to where I can't queue unless it's aram and a champ is chosen automatically.
