"Lockfile" File shows in folder. Client does not show "LAUNCH" button (black client)

Just happened 3 hours ago. I open the client to find that the client is completely blacked out and that the launch button is missing. I've already tried disabling firewall (AVG and Windows Firewall) and tried deleting various types of files. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me find a solution to this madness.
