[CLIENT] Mac Launcher Doesn't Open

I just downloaded the client from the official website and when I go to launch the client so that the client can download patches/files, a small white dot appears in the middle of my screen instead of the client itself. I've already tried replacing the UserKernel file from the original .dmg file and nothing is seeming to work. I am now out of ideas and could really use some help so that I may return to the Rift. Help pls

EDIT: I am currently running OSX 10.10.5 and I'm not due for any system updates
