[CLIENT/CRASH] Ranked champ select screen froze and would not start game

Our ranked champ select screen froze with the countdown timer on '0' and after a few minutes the game had not started. We could still chat in the lobby chat. People started leaving, so I quit out of the game and now it says I have left a game in progress and that I should reconnect. When I click the "reconnect" button, nothing happens and I don't join in to the game. I can't join any other games. I have restarted my client 3 times.

EDIT: I got in by restarting LoL, clicking the reconnect button, and then waiting for about 15 minutes. I just left it open in the background and it eventually joined the game.
