Launcher freezes computer?

Hi everyone. So I was going to play League as usual today and start it up but today it wouldn't open. I would click the patcher and the league of legends icon would appear but then dissapear again and give me a little loading icon next to my cursor but nothing would happen. So after awhile I uninstalled league and re installed but now about after 5-10 minutes of the patcher running everything freezes on my computer. My browser doesn't respond and I get a not responding page where everything is lighter and you can't click on anything.

This freeze can't be solved by clicking the x button or ctrl+ alt + delete because it won't do that either. I can click the start button but then that freezes as well and I can't do anything. The only option is to completely shut it down again. My patcher also gets stuck at 260 mb I think.

My video card is the nvidia gtx 550 ti and my computer is the hp pavillion p7-1019. None of these issues have ever happened except for today. I had left my CSGO game on for a couple of hours while I was gone if that matters.

EDIT: While my computer is frozen I can freely move my mouse and hover off the league client and that seem pretty responsive but I can't click on anything.

Bump! Having the same issue EVERY TIME I log in and also causes a problem where my display drivers will stop responding and require me to hard reboot the machine during the game. (Usually results in 5-9 minutes of me trying to reconnect to LoL.) This has not happened until the past 2 patches. I have tried reinstalling the game from scratch. Repairing files. Reinstalling and updating ALL my drivers and still having this issue. Not a heating issue either as I am running at a cap of 81c during gaming.
