Rylai's Crystal Scepter incorrect components Giant's Belt

I just finished playing a ranked game with Malzahar. In this game i wanted to build Rylai's Crystal Scepter and remembered that one of the old components was giant's belt. When i clicked giant's belt in game, rylai's came up as a final item that it could help complete it, but when i clicked rylai's, giant's belt was no longer listed as a component. Only ruby crystal was listed. Has anybody else experienced this in game?
