Leaver buster system is dumb

Today i had an internet problem that i couldn't fix and i finallyu got it to work and i get back to find i have a 5 minute wait to my next 5 games which is unusally long and if i leave the wait the wait restarts. why not have just it a 5 minute wait like when/if you dodge not while you and your buds wanna play a couple games. and i swear to god if anybody says why did you leave then i will have to get you downvoted to oblivion.
