Jayce bug?
I cant really tell if this is a glitch but once you switch to hammer form if you are in range for your ranged basic attack your first basic attack is that far away in hammer form.

Probably because the ult switch isn't programmed as an ability that interrupts casts or animations, just an instant switch. That way, the auto will still carry out like a ranged one but the visual will switch.
It's a bug, but not an important one and is actually pretty cool to do in game. Probably won't be fixed that soon.
