Complete computer freeze on log in (keyboard monitor every thing) Windows not mac

For the past week now every time i log in to the game my hole computer freezes what is odd its skype and team speak both carry on. I cant even control alt delete or put the computer in to sleep the only way to fix it is a hard reset!!!

I have installed it multiple times and the problem persists. I have tried compatibility mod safe mode nothing works on my end. LoL has had problems in the past but i have had less harmful viruses on my completer than this client right now.

Windows 8 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHz

Please help its starting to look like i'm not going to be able to play again...

Yeah same thing happened to me. The weirdest part is that it was working the same day for hours and then when i tried reopening it it freezes my computer.

idk why but this happened to me too one day it was perfectly fine and nothing wrong with it then the next day it freezes i hope they run a patch for this too

It still is the Windows 8.1 update. Riot cant really do much about it - there are multiple tipps how to avoid the freezing. For me - clicking PLAY button as fast as I can and close the 'NEW ranked team awards - window' - then waiting for 20sec. helps most of the times, but it really is no fun atm.

I get that everyone now and then. Usually if I just wait it out (usually between 3-5 minutes lately), it'll go back to normal.
