[Gameplay] Brand ult not bouncing

Tested this repeatedly in game with a friend after experiencing it in game as Brand. The ult will not bounce to a burning minion, monster, or pet after hitting an enemy champion. It will bounce to a burning minion/monster if coming from another non-champion unit though. The ult will still bounce the five times between two enemy champions, but this is potentially gamebreaking in a 1v1 mid. I've included a clip of the bug first not bouncing to any minions, then not bouncing back to the Scuttle crab, and finally not bouncing back off of Tibbers.

Good catch. Although I think you are making a small mistake. It is the Ablazed Champion that matters and not the Ablazed Minion. Everything else is correct I think.

Whenever the ultimate collides with an Ablazed Champion it cannot bounce to anything else than another Champion. In the first clip you Ablazed both Minions and the Champion, therefor it did not bounce. In the next two clips the ultimate is fizzling when it comes back to the Ablazed Champion. Up to here our conclusions works the same, but if you go into a custom game and Ablaze the Minions and not the Champion, the ult will bounce once to the Ablazed Minion back to the enemy Champion that is now Ablazed and then fizzle.

No, it's ablazed anything. It's just that if it bounces to an ablazed minion, it can bounce because there is a champion nearby.

If you ult an Ablazed minion it bounces as intended until it hits an Ablazed champion. I Ablazed a whole wave (no champion nearby) and ulted it and it bounces all 5 times everytime.

I swear I thought I was the only one. I thought I missed something in the patch notes and I had no clue why my ult didn't bounce at all.

I found this also in a game vs a kindred bot. In that game it seemed to never bounce off her when her W was active. But that makes perfect sense now as the minions around her would have been ablaze each time.

This is definitely not a good thing for Brand!

You did not happen to Ablaze Kindred at the same time as the minions before you ulted?

I'm so glad other people are upset about this. Once they "FIXED" brands ult in that last patch it hasn't been working properly as a brand main this is very problematic

I'm having the same issue. Every time when I'm in lane the combo does not seem to work anymore. I E,Q,W, and R but instead of the ult bouncing off of the champions and minions, it instead fizzles when it hits the champion. it seems to work when I use the combo on minions only. Did I miss something in the patch notes?

You didn't miss anything. It's a bug that makes the Ultimate fizzle when you target an Ablazed champion with no more enemy champions nearby(only minions or monsters).
