Lol Patcher crashes or doesn't start Launcher on Mac

Since the last Patch the lolPatcher seems to misbehave. He did try to load the update but now fails every time. The result is only a slight indication that something is starting in the Dock without anything happening. Neither a fresh install nor the deletion of some Library files seems to help.
