LoL client stops responding after leaving base [CRASH] or [CLIENT]

Everything is fine with champ select and the loading screen for me but as soon as I leave the base I get a pop-up saying that the client has stopped responding. So it would closed and I would have to reconnected to the game and everything is fine. This happens in all games modes, the only exception if it's a custom game with just bots and me. It doesn't take that much time to reconnected but it is getting really annoying. Is this happening to anyone else or is it just me?
